Staved teak bowl of broad, tapered form like a canoe, designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk. This is the larger size of this model--it came in 24 and 20 inch lengths (see image for comparison). Made in Denmark, early production from the late 1950s.

Measures about 5 inches high, 24 inches long, 11 1/4 inches wide. Early branded mark on underside.

Overall condition is good, with some wear and light scratches, very minor dents and a couple tiny losses along the grain at the edges, and natural variations in the color and figure of the wood.
