Evelyn Ackerman, with her husband Jerome, designed a wide range of decorative arts from their Los Angeles studio between the 1940s and the 1980s. Together they created a distinctive, whimsical style based in handcraftsmanship that became uniquely identified with modern California style during the mid century.
Each panel measures 48 inches high, 9 inches wide, about 1 1/8 inches deep. Each stamped Panelcarve on the reverse.
Overall condition is good, with minor surface wear (one panel has a few scratches near the top) and minor color variation between the panels.
