Complete set of eight transfer-printed ceramic coasters designed by Piero Fornasetti in the 'Vini e Liquori' pattern, circa 1955. Each coaster depicts a bottle hang tag for a different alcoholic beverage, including, port, gin, whiskey and brandy, printed in black on white with gilt details.
Each measures 4 1/8 inches diameter. The reverse of each is printed with the Fornasetti Milano mark.
Overall condition is good, with no chips or cracks. There is some very light wear to the gilt details; the usual roughness in the glaze at the edges.
