Set of four Italian wool damask pillow cover in turquoise and gold with fringe trim on all sides. The baroque-style patterned fabric is the same on both sides, with a metal zipper closure. These have the original label and have apparently never been used. The label says the fabric is 80% wool, 20% cotton--the face and trim feel like wool, I'd guess that the warp is cotton. Probably late 1960s.

Each cover has been professionally dry cleaned.

The label says the pillow measures 16 x 16 inches, but they are closer to 16 1/2 x 17 inches or so (I recommend an 18 x 18 inch insert). The trim and fringe add another 4 1/2 inches to each side.
