Rectangular teak trivet designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk. These lattice trivets were meant to be used at the dining table under hot dishes, such as Dansk's stove top-to-table cookware. With original fitted box.
Measures 11 1/8 x 7 1/2 inches. Impressed ‘DANMARK’, 1960s.
Overall condition is good, showing very little wear, but there are a few small losses along the grain of the wood—see detail image. The box shows wear, with losses, stains, and dents.
